Some of the PHS committee members alongside the children from Oldway Primary School who were instrumental in the ‘Paignton Our Home Town’ project appear in a short film which is being hosted on the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark You Tube channel. The film celebrates Torbay’s rich past and vibrant community spirit with 40 community-led projects which were selected as part of the Local Heritage Grant Scheme in 2024-25 being showcased.
