The Paignton Heritage Society was formed in 1989. We have a large range of items of historical interest we use for research, talks and exhibitions.

We hold regular meetings to hear or give talks on subjects of local interest and provide guided tours of local buildings of heritage importance.

Our aims are:

To preserve and open to the public all the heritage buildings in Paignton
To encourage tourist and trade initiatives that will benefit Paignton
To support local concern over critical planning applications
To monitor the policies and plans of government, council and developers
